US Presidential Trivia: Who is the only U.S. President to have a doctorate?

U.S. Presidents, as you can likely imagine, have a history of being very well educated.  You'd hope that this would be the case - it is, after all, the smartest office in the land.  However, of the 43 men that have been President, only one has held a Doctorate.  So, from Pocket Trivia: US Presidents - Who is the only American President to hold a Doctorate?  Is it John Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon or Woodrow Wilson?

It is not John Kennedy - Kennedy graduated from Harvard with a degree in International Affairs, but that's it.

Not Clinton.  Clinton obtained a law degree from Yale in 1973 and was actually a Rhodes Scholar, but he did not hold a doctorate.

It wasn't Richard Nixon either.  Nixon was also a lawyer, however - he graduated from Duke with a law degree in 1937.

The correct answer is Woodrow Wilson.  Wilson was an academic prior to serving as President of the United States; before entering politics, Wilson served as the President of Princeton University from 1902 - 1910.  Prior to that, Wilson earned his Ph.D. for History & Political Science in 1886.
