Whenever a celebrity dies, it makes the news. When a celebrity dies before their time, it becomes an even bigger and more tragic story. Celebrity deaths are sadly an all too common phenomenon, but when its a young death, the premature loss of potential and talent really seems to hit home. The answer to this sad, sad question is Britney Murphy. Murphy collapsed in her shower on December 20, 2009 and was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly afterwards. Her primary cause of death was listed as pneumonia - however, secondary causes of death included an iron deficiency and multiple drug interactions. To battle a cold or the flu, Murphy was taking several drugs and the combination was one of the factors in her death.
